Surface Design on Enamel (Intermediate) - Thurs. June 13 (2 time slots)
Did you take the Introduction to Enamel class and fall in love with torch-fired enameling? Or maybe you've dabbled in enamel at home, and want to learn more techniques? This Surface Design workshop is the perfect place to hone your enameling skills!
Enamel is the art of fusing powder glass to metal to create colorful, durable designs. In this 3 hour class, we'll dive deep into different ways to create designs in the surface of your enamel, including Stenciling, Graphite on Enamel, Sift & Dump, and more! You'll make multiple pieces of jewelry in the colors of your choice, using the techniques of your choice.
Introduction to Enameling is not a required pre-requisite, but it will certainly help to have a basic understanding of torch-fired enameling. The class caps at 4 students, so there's plenty of time for one-on-one learning. All materials are provided, included assorted copper shapes, sterling silver ear wires, sterling silver chains, assorted opaque enamel colors, safety glasses & N95s.
Thursday, June 13th 10am-1pm OR 6-9pm
This class is lots of fun to do with a friend! Feel free to bring snacks and a drink.
