Maybe you learned enamel at summer camp as a kid and want to get back into it?  Or perhaps you've admired colorful enamel jewelry and thought, "I'd love to give that a try!" This introduction to the art of torch-fired enameling is the perfect place to start!

Enamel is the art of fusing powder glass to metal to create colorful, durable designs.  In this 2.5 hour class, you'll learn everything from how to properly clean your metal, to safety precautions when working with glass and a torch, and you'll complete enamel jewelry in the colors of your choice (and I have A LOT of colors to choose from)!

This is truly an introductory course; no prior jewelry-making knowledge is needed.  The class caps at 4 students, so there's plenty of time for one-on-one learning.  All materials are provided, included assorted copper shapes, sterling silver ear wires, sterling silver chains, assorted opaque enamel colors, safety glasses & N95s.

Thursday, May 2nd  6-8:30pm

This class is fun to take with your partner or some friends!  Feel free to bring drinks and a snack.
